Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 496999), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in molecular biology, energy metabolism and metabolic disease. They should have excellent communication skills, a strong record of research output, extensive experience in animal studies, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will work on projects related to basic and translational research of metabolic disorders, and participate in other research projects under the supervision of Dr. Ruby L.C. Hoo.
