Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 497056) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility for renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social sciences, psychology, counselling, statistics, healthcare or a related discipline, preferably with experience in health-related research projects. They should be able to work independently and in a team, self-motivated, and familiar with quantitative and qualitative research methods. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good communication skills. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting field works and data analysis, assisting in intervention programmes, coordinating ongoing research projects; drafting reports for research projects; and other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be required. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be considered as Research Assistant II.
