Project Officer (at the rank of Senior Research Assistant) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention, Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 497063) (to commence as soon as possible thereafter, for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Kindergarten Education or a related discipline with at least 3 years’ work experience. They should have excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and SPSS; good analytical, organizational and project management skills; and the ability to work independently and serve as a team leader. Experience in undertaking educational and psychological research, publication, curriculum and website development, and working with children and adolescents would be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the whole project and will participate in the coordination of data management, statistical analysis and reporting/paper writing.
