Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer (2 posts) in the Proteomics and Metabolomics Core Facility (PM Core) of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 498432) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess an M.Phil. degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a biomedical related discipline, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience, and a good command of written and spoken English. Experience in Proteomics, Metabolomics, or Mass Spectrometry would be an advantage. Applicants should be passionate about life science and laboratory bench work, and have a thorough understanding of modern mass spectrometry and chromatography techniques. 

The appointees will be involved in the day-to-day core facility operations in proteomics, metabolomics and protein biochemistry, and work with the team from the bench side. They will support the protocol development and assist with the maintenance of advanced state-of-the-art equipments (HPLC, GC, QQQ, Q-TOF, Orbitrap, QTRAP, etc.) that facilitate cutting-edge translational research at PM Core.
