Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 498577) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in communications, journalism, marketing or a related discipline; a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese); and at least 3 years’ work experience in promotion, marketing, journalism or public relations. He/She should be highly self-motivated and a good team player. The appointee will contribute to a project that aims to empower the young-old generation to better prepare for the second half of their lives through increased autonomy, connectedness and competence. He/She will be responsible for formulation of publicity strategy and implementation of marketing and promotion plan of the project, such as coordinating the production of publicity materials, preparing press materials and providing on-site and off-site support for project events. He/She will also liaise and coordinate with vendors, NGO partners, media and external parties, having ample opportunity to collaborate with service professionals and academic experts.
