Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 499016), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in biostatistics, mathematics or statistics. They should have excellent communication skills, teaching and knowledge sharing experience, a strong record of research productivity, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will focus on methods of estimating influenza vaccine effectiveness including the “test-negative design”. He/She will also perform statistical analyses of existing datasets and simulation analyses to explore potential biases. There will be opportunities to participate in other research projects on infectious disease epidemiology in our WHO Collaborating Centre.
