Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer in the School-University Partnerships Office of the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 499071) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably with a qualification in teacher education and teaching experience in local schools. They should have good knowledge of schools in Hong Kong; an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently and under pressure.

The appointee will provide administrative support to the School-University Partnerships Director and the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) and in the implementation of external and internal partnerships. The focus of the external partnership is to offer support and programmes to professional practicum through targeted and purposeful visits to Professional Partnership Schools and School Sponsoring Bodies. The focus of the internal partnership is to liaise with directors of initial teacher education programmes for practicum placement opportunities for students. He/She will also be required to look after the Faculty International Exchange Programmes, and oversee the annual partnership forum and education-related events. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
