Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (2 posts) in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 499109) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Master’s degree with at least 5 years’ administrative experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English (an overall band score of 7.5 or above in IELTS or equivalent) and Chinese; IT proﬁciency; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. They should also demonstrate the capacity for independent action, and the ability to perform diversified duties under pressure. Those with lower qualification or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Department, and play a resourceful role in leading junior executive and clerical staff in a wide spectrum of administrative work related to (i) research and knowledge exchange, or (ii) teaching and general services. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
