Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I/II (AAI/II) in the Admissions and Academic Liaison Section of the Registry (Ref.: 499484) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good University degree and at least 10 years’ work experience in the educational sector, of which at least 3 years should be at the supervisory or management level, and have solid experience in managing student exchange programmes and overseas institutional partnerships. They should also have excellent communication skills, inclusive of a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills; a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and under pressure; and the capacity to lead a team and work independently with initiative. Solid marketing experience is highly preferred. Applicants with less experience may be appointed as AAII.
The appointee will be in charge of the International Affairs Office, oversee the planning and implementation of student exchange programmes, and initiate new strategic exchange partnership. He/She will be responsible for budgetary planning and monitoring; promoting study abroad programmes and supervision of supporting staff. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AAI, and 10% of basic salary for AAII.
