Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant II in the President’s Office (Ref.: 499664) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis and with the possibility of renewal).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' work experience, preferably in the natural science or technology sector. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They should also have strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and communication skills; and the ability to work independently with initiative. A high level of computer literacy would be advantage. Working knowledge/experience in Mainland China relations or China Initiative activities is preferred.
The appointee will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Advisors to the President. He/She is also required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assist in the development and implementation of strategic plan and policies for China Initiative activities, and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and to perform duty trips to Mainland China. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
