Events and Marketing Executive (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref.: 499851) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' related work experience in marketing or event management. Relevant experience in mainland China would be an advantage. They should have journalism background; an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); good interpersonal and communication skills; experience in graphic design capabilities, multi-media production, event organization and promotion; a good understanding of social media, website management and email marketing; and the ability to create and publish content and participate in the content strategy process. They should also be highly self-motivated, creative, hardworking, and capable of working independently as well as under pressure.
The appointee will help to maintain social media channels including websites, e-newsletters, publications, email outreaches, and media; support the manager to handle external and internal PR campaigns and communications programs whenever necessary; and perform any ad hoc projects as assigned. He/She may be required to travel to mainland China and overseas occasionally.
