Executive Officer/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500208) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years’ full-time work experience in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and the ability to perform diversified duties and work independently. They should be meticulous, tactful in dealing with people and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A band score of 7.5 or above for writing in the IELTS is a distinctive advantage. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be appointed as Executive Assistant.
The appointees will assist in various areas such as human resources; research administration; international outreach and partnerships; administration of undergraduate and postgraduate taught, research and executive programmes; committee servicing; executive support for events, meetings and visitors; office management; accommodation; and special projects as assigned. They will work closely with administrative staff, academic seniors and external partners. Work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or a written test.
