Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500496) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, bioinformatics, biomedical science, microbiology or related disciplines. Experience in next-generation sequence analysis, and knowledge of computational methods in population genetics and phylogenetics are highly preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Preference will be given to those with a keen interest in infectious diseases and in pursuing M.Phil/Ph.D. studies. Those with a Master’s degree plus at least one year’s relevant experience may be appointed as Senior Research Assistant.
