Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref. 500535) (to commence on August 1, 2020 or as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 1-2 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably with fluency in Putonghua), good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. They should be a fast learner, a good team player, attentive to details, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and proficiency in IT skills.
The appointee will assist in programme administration, human resources, finance and office administration; and perform ad-hoc and non-routine tasks as required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
