Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 500666), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 10 years’ work experience within the context of the education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organizational, time management and decision-making skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. The appointee will play a versatile role in leading junior executive and clerical staff in supporting a range of tasks including undergraduate programme management, curriculum revisions, quality assurance and enhancement of the programmes as well as provision of student-centred services. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
