Executive Officer in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 500668) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, with at least 5 years’ solid administrative work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution, public organization, NGO or a healthcare related field.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills.  Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage.  Applicants should also be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, be a good team player with the ability to multi-task and be attentive to details.  The appointee is expected to join the HKU Health System which is responsible for the establishment and development of Teaching Hospital projects in Hong Kong and China.  Further, the appointee will be responsible for managing the HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care (a purpose-built cancer-specific research and service centre focusing on psychosocial care).  He/She is also required to perform  other duties as assigned.  Occasional travelling outside Hong Kong may be required.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
