Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I/II (AAI/II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 501794), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a good university degree, with at least 8 years’ relevant hands-on experience at supervisory level in communication, media relations, public relations, or publications or editorial work in the higher education or commercial sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team player with the ability to multi-task and be very attentive to details. The appointee will provide a high level of administrative support to branding initiatives, communications and media relations, including preparation of publications, promotional or presentation materials, other forms of reports, as well as making media plans and preparing media releases. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as AAII.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AAI and 10% of basic salary for AAII.
