IT Officer (holding the functional title of Public Communication Officer (Social Media)) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (CSRP) (Ref. 501802) (to commence as soon as possible for 4-month, with the possibility of renewal renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree with at least two years' work experience in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or other creative industries (educational/mental health industry related experience preferred, but not essential). They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), preferably fluency in Putonghua.  They should be able to think critically and to contribute ideas proactively. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, social media marketing campaigns and aspiration to develop a career in a dynamic educational/mental health industry will be highly preferred.

The appointee will be in charge of writing copy for social media and the website, and assist in graphics and video production.  He/She is expected to remain abreast of what’s happening in the market, and come equipped with innovative ideas for social content; and be involved in managing the back-end system of CSRP’s social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and other software for deploying and tracking posts; monitoring and analysing media and online discussions about CSRP; and assisting with website content management. He/She will also be responsible for participating in the planning and implementation of projects and digital campaigns actively; building knowledge of mental health and CSRP’s role in the mental health industry.
