Multimedia Development Manager / Multimedia Development Officer (at the rank of IT Manager / IT Officer) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 501957) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years’ professional work experience in digital media and production management, including at least 2 years' supervisory experience. They should be proficient in English, and able to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds. Experience in setting up or managing a multimedia laboratory, production studio and audio-visual equipment is required. Knowledge of cartoon animation, digital room correction, Adobe After Effect and Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere CC, Chroma Key, live streaming platforms (e.g. StreamYard, Panopto and YouTube), Learning Management System (LMS) integration (e.g. Moodle), digital media technology (e.g. VR/AR/360-degree videos), and photography would be an advantage. Those with less experience may be appointed as Multimedia Development Officer.

The appointee will develop and maintain online courses, e-learning videos, teaching and learning related materials and other e-resources; manage production facilities and resources; liaise with internal and external clients on the production design; contribute to strategic decisions; assist in budgeting; resolve escalated issues arising from operations; and perform other duties as assigned.
