Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 502200) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with 1-2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be a definite advantage), good organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with the ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details.
The appointee will provide support to the administration of taught postgraduate programmes in the Faculty, including programme operations, academic coordination, student administration; build and develop relationship with students, alumni and other stakeholders; and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and travel to the Mainland China. He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
