Part-time Student Research Assistant (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 502263) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students in public health, social sciences, biomedical sciences or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and a strong work ethic. They should be highly-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Preference will be given to those with experience in clinical settings, research trials, project management, conducting questionnaires, or proficiency in survey software.
The appointees will assist the research team to conduct a randomized trial of incentives based on behavioural economics to improve patient health outcomes. They will recruit participants at outpatient clinics, administer questionnaires, collect and process data, provide weekly follow-up and feedback to participants, and perform other duties as assigned.
