Senior Analyst Programmer/ Analyst Programmer (at the rank of IT Officer/ IT Technician) (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 502381) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines. They are expected to learn fast, possess good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to work proactively with our dynamic teaching and learning team under a fast-paced environment. The appointees may provide technical support to events and functions, and perform ad hoc projects as assigned. Those with less experience may be appointed as Analyst Programmer.
For post A, applicants should have at least 3 years’ work experience in web application and website/CMS development. They should be familiar with programming tools/ databases such as PHP, Apache and MySQL. Experience in e-learning platform development (i.e. Moodle) would be an added advantage. The appointees will be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining the applications on the Moodle platform. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
For post B, applicants should have at least 3 years’ work experience in web application development. They should have solid experience in modern frontend framework programming tools such as React.js and Vue.js, and backend framework programming tools/database such as .Net Core, IIS and MS SQL Server. The appointees will be responsible for both front and back end web application development, designing and developing the APIs, and supporting and maintaining various systems. They will assist in user requirement analysis and system design, prepare related system documentation, and provide end-user support and training.
