IT Officer in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 502382) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in website/CMS development. They should have a good sense in visual and graphic presentations, practical knowledge of website design and internet programming languages/tools (e.g. CSS 3, HTML 5, PHP, MYSQL Java Script, MySQL, Wordpress, etc), and strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be a good team player. Experience in developing mobile application (iOS/Android platform) would be an advantage. The appointee will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, project websites, and performing other programming duties as assigned.
