Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology/Social Science/Statistics or a related discipline plus one year's work experience in quantitative and qualitative analyses. Advanced proficiency with SPSS, Excel, R, and a good command of spoken and written English are essential. Knowledge of and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods would be an advantage. They should also demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative team environment, handle multi-task and be attentive to details. The appointee will support various institutional surveys and projects on teaching and learning; collect and analyze data, produce reports, conduct interviews, and write-up manuscript. The appointee will also perform general administrative and other duties as assigned by supervisor. On-the-job training related to psychometric analysis will be provided. Those with at least three years of research experience and stronger academic background may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant.
