Research Assistant I/II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 502704) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Public Health, Psychology, Social Science, Nutrition or other related disciplines, with at least 1 year’s relevant experience. They should have good interpersonal and project management skills, effective communication skills, and proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese) and English. They should also be responsible, highly motivated, and able to coordinate research projects independently and multi-task. Previous work experience in community-based research project would be highly desirable. Applicants with less experience and lower qualifications may be considered as Research Assistant II. The appointee will be involved in research projects relating to diabetes prevention and weight management. He/She will coordinate various research and health promotion projects; assist in proposal writing and drafting reports and publications for research projects; and perform other duties as assigned.
