Part-time Phlebotomist (at the rank of Laboratory Assistant) (2 posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 502827) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should be a registered phlebotomist in Hong Kong. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. The appointees will assist in a population-based cohort studies of older adults. They will collect blood samples from participants in community health centres across 18 districts in Hong Kong. They will mainly work during daytime (morning and afternoon) on weekdays for not more than 20 hours per week. Work outside normal office hours or on weekends may be required occasionally.
