Project Officer/Project Assistant (at the rank of Student Advising Officer/Student Affairs Assistant I) in the Careers and Placement Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 503092) (to commence as soon as possible until June 30, 2022)
Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 3 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions and/or large corporations. Experience in planning and organising educational or training programmes are distinct advantages. They should be independent, meticulous, result-oriented, attentive to details, able to multitask and work under pressure. High level of organisation, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required. Applicants should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office. Knowledge in Photoshop, webpage design, video editing software and online learning platforms (e.g. Zoom/Microsoft Teams) are preferred.
The appointee will be responsible for organising and managing career training and employment support programmes, formulating and executing promotion plans, monitoring programme effectiveness, preparing programme evaluation reports, and performing any other duties as assigned. He/She will work closely with students, staff and external parties such as trainers, career coaches and programme partners.
