Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse)/Enrolled Nurse in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503153) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal).
Applicants should be registered or enrolled with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, preferably with experience in clinical research. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (particularly fluent Cantonese), and a keen research interest in epidemiology and public health. They should be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge of antimicrobial resistance and experience in organising fieldwork in similar projects would be advantages.
The appointee will assist in managing a range of ongoing community field studies. He/She will recruit participants, conduct questionnaire and health education, collect data, and assist in study co-ordination. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
