Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 503353) (to commence as soon as possible for 8 months)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Biological Sciences or a related discipline, preferably with at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience. They should be sensible; mature; attentive to details; and able to multi-task with good and effective organizational and time management skills. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently. Preference will be given to those with relevant experience in handling clinical research and human blood samples, statistical analysis and basic laboratory techniques.
The appointee will be responsible for coordinating clinical research, study subjects’ assessment and investigation schedules; data collection, entry and organization; conducting questionnaires; and performing simple bedside vascular studies, specimens processing, research administration and other duties as assigned.
