Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy and Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503571) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in public health, health economics, biostatistics, computer sciences, or a related quantitative discipline. They should have good communication skills in English and Chinese, competence in project management and administration, and the ability to multitask. They should be organized, self-motivated, detail-orientated, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team. Quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical software, including R, are advantages.

The appointee will participate in an interdisciplinary five-year health economic and policy research programme on population health, including modelling the long-term spill over impact of COVID-19 on non-communicable disease outcomes, analysing healthcare utilization and evaluating public health interventions. They will conduct literature review, process data, assist with manuscripts and reports, liaise with external parties, and perform other research-related duties as assigned.
