Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science (Ref.: 503657) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years' full-time work experience in administration. Relevant work experience in self-funded programme administration in tertiary institutions would be an advantage. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). They should also have a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; and be meticulous, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Those with higher qualifications or more experience may be appointed as Senior Executive Assistant. The appointee will assist in the administration of the taught postgraduate programmes; provide secretarial support for meetings and logistic support for events for the General Office; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
