Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 503694) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree preferably in Dentistry/Engineering or relevant disciplines. They should have experience in research methodology; and proficiency in academic writing in English and the use of statistical software. Preference will be given to those with a track record in research, in particular with research experience in digital dentistry/medical imaging. Possession of lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II, and those with an interest in pursuing Ph.D. studies in digital dentistry would be an advantage.
The appointee will participate in a dental digital technology project that aims to create virtual patient models through digitization of patient’s teeth and face for research and educational purposes. He/She will assist in patients’ data collection, merging and analysis; questionnaire administration to evaluate students’ feedback; and the preparation of research manuscripts.
