Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 503708) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline, preferably with experience in cell culture, virus culture, molecular cloning, protein expression, western blot assay, ELISA assay, confocal microscope, and mouse animal work. They should have a strong interest in working closely with biologists, and the ability to work independently with high motivation. Those who have an interest in pursuing postgraduate studies are also welcome. The appointee will conduct research on cell culture, protein expression, viral culture, animal and antiviral experiments under the supervision of Professor Yuen Kwok-Yung and Dr. Zhao Hanjun.
