Technical Officer (2 posts) in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 503807) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in pharmaceutical science or related disciplines, with at least 1 year's post-qualification laboratory experience. Experience in chemical analysis such as high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography, cell culture, and/or animal handling would be an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated and hard-working. They should also have good problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
The appointee will assist in the preparation and teaching of undergraduate practical on the manufacture and analysis of various types of pharmaceutical formulations.
