Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 503894) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences or any related disciplines. Graduate research experience or a plan to pursue graduate research would be an advantage. The ability to communicate in Cantonese is essential. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, a strong commitment to high quality research, and the will to persist and persevere through challenges. The appointee will participate in research on early psychosis, bipolar disorder and at-risk mental state for psychosis utilizing clinical, neurocognitive and neuroimaging approaches. He/She will develop and execute research programmes, carry out clinical interviews and neurocognitive assessments with patients, assist in neuroimaging processing, and perform data entry, analysis and management.
