Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases of the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 504039) to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Infectious Diseases with an established level of laboratory experience and academic research with a good publication track record. Work experience in COVID-19 or influenza project, diagnosis of diseases through RT-PCR and vaccinology would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in SPSS and MS Office applications including MS Word and MS Excel; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility and ethic; and the ability to work independently with initiative as well as in a collaborative team environment. They should also be self-motivated, attentive to detail and able to multitask. The appointee will work in the field of Infectious Diseases research led by Professor Ivan FN Hung.
