Tutor in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 504055) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D. degree, in public health or a related discipline. They should have solid experience in programme coordination and project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in managing community-level public health advocacy programmes, and/or undergraduate/postgraduate teaching will be highly desirable.
The appointee will assist in the practicum coordination for the flagship Master of Public Health (MPH) programme. He/She will identify practicum placement sites; coordinate placements; liaise with teachers and industry partners; monitor students’ progress; provide academic assistance to students and academic supervisors; and perform other teaching-related duties as assigned.
