Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant (several posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy and Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 504070), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in health services or other health-related disciplines, with a good record of publishing academic research papers. They should have strong leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills; and an excellent command of written English. They should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in large-scale research project management and development, and knowledge of biostatistics and data analysis would be highly desirable. 

The appointees will participate in an interdisciplinary five-year research programme on population health and work on the modelling of the long-term spill-over impact of COVID-19 on non-communicable diseases. They will plan and coordinate the research project, evaluate territory-wide programmes, manage and analyse data, prepare reports and presentations, supervise junior research staff, and perform other duties as assigned.  The appointees will be given opportunities to work with research and health professionals and develop a research career in health and health services.  Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to Dr. Jianchao Quan at
