We are looking for a high calibre candidate to work for the Jockey Club Colon Cancer Prevention and Screening Programme under the HKU Endoscopy Centre managed by LKS Faculty of Medicine. To encourage the public for early screening, the HKU Endoscopy Centre has been setup to conduct clinical research on prevention for colon cancer and extend affordable colon cancer screening to the Hong Kong population.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences or related disciplines with at least 3 years’ work experience. They should have good competency in MS Office applications; have good communication, interpersonal, management and organizational skills; and be fluent in Chinese and English to have direct communication with patients and the general public. Preference will be given to those who have frontline service experience in a substantial medical organization or NGO in particular to gastroenterology and/or colorectal cancer. The appointee will join a dedicated research team studying colorectal cancer. He/She will provide administrative support to the team including management of patients’ database, bookings and records, coordination of clinical studies, clinical data analysis, documentation, liaison with physicians and team members as well as external stakeholders, answering queries on a daily basis; and perform any other office duties as assigned.
