Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 508460) (to commence in January 2022 for six months)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Political Science, Sociology, Economics or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, and adequate knowledge of and experience in statistical methods and quantitative research. They should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. They should also have good interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Those with work experience in research projects are preferred.
The appointee will work on research projects related to social welfare policies and migration policies. He/She will be responsible for data collection and analysis, data management, literature searches, literature review, and perform any other research-related duties as assigned.
