Project Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508504) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 2 years' post-qualification administrative experience. They should have good written and oral communication skills; strong learning ability; good interpersonal skills; considerable clerical and secretarial skills; and proficiency in PC and software applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). They should be responsible, detail-minded, organized, self-disciplined, and a team player. Fresh graduates of high calibre may also be considered.
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to a busy research team, with specific responsibilities for conference organization, visitor arrangement and teaching support. He/She will work with the Project Manager to coordinate conferences, workshops, meetings, presentations, training and fieldwork activities; provide secretarial support to a wide range of matters that entail frequent liaison and coordination with internal and external parties; maintain and record project files; and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
