Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 508588) (to commence as soon as possible for ten months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work, Psychology or related disciplines; be proficient in reading and writing both English and Chinese; have adequate knowledge of quantitative research, preferably familiar with R, STATA, SAS or Mplus; have good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility; and be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Those with expertise in the area of child/youth development and mental health are preferred.
The appointee will primarily work on research projects related to youth mental health and community-based intervention research. He/She will be responsible for literature search, literature review, data management, quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis, research report writing, and performing any other tasks as assigned.
