Research Assistant II (Ref.: 509176) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Neuroscience, Linguistics or a related discipline. They should be a Cantonese-English bilingual speaker and a fluent signer of Hong Kong Sign Language. The candidates should have extensive knowledge of Cantonese and English languages, and demonstrate a good understanding of deaf community in Hong Kong.
The appointee will be responsible for assisting in (1) designing and executing experiments with deaf and hard-of-hearing children; (2) managing research projects and training undergraduate research helpers; (3) performing various administrative duties at the Speech, Language and Reading Lab in the Unit of Human Communication, Development, and Information Sciences.
