Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 512320), to commence as soon as possible for two or three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological/medical sciences, virology or a related discipline. Outstanding and self-motivated candidates with a proven research track record are encouraged to apply.  Experience in bioinformatics, cell biology, immunology, animal handling, virology or microbial pathogens handling in BSL-2/3 laboratories would be an advantage.  The appointees will conduct independent and collaborative research on COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), coronavirus and influenza under the supervision of Dr. Michael C.W. Chan and Dr. Kenrie P.Y. Hui.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
