Part-time Student Research Assistant (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 512649) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and a good work ethic. They should be highly-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Preference will be given to those with experience in conducting questionnaires.
The appointees will assist the research team in a cohort study to evaluate the extension of statutory maternity leave. They will recruit participants at clinics, conduct surveys, and perform other duties as assigned. They will work at least 2 sessions (3 to 4 hours per session) per week, and will be required to travel to various study sites in Hong Kong.
