Executive Officer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 513756) (to commence as soon as possible for six months)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or non-profit organizations. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and strong communication, organizational and project management skills. They should be meticulous, diplomatic, and a good team player. They should demonstrate the capacity for independent action, and the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent English writing skills (e.g. a band score of 7.5 or above for writing in the IELTS), and experience managing social media, media outlets and websites are distinctive advantages.

The appointee will be responsible for the public relations and media activities of the School. He/She will perform a wide range of writing tasks; liaise with internal and external stakeholders and vendors for the planning and execution of outreach activities; manage content and updates for the School’s social media platforms and website; devise and execute the publicity, recruitment and logistics of a fellowship programme; and perform other duties as assigned. Work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
