Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 513794), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, virology, biological/biomedical sciences, animal sciences, or a related discipline. They should have full-time work experience and a sound track-record of publications in the related disciplines. They should also have effective communication skills, a strong interest in working closely with virologists and clinicians; and be highly motivated, independent, and able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to emerging viral pathogens under the supervision of Dr. Hin Chu and Dr. Jasper Chan.
