Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 513795), to commence as soon as possible for two or three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline of Virology, Immunology or Medical Chemistry. Expertise in metabolic signaling, antiviral study or immunology will be an advantage. The appointee is expected to work independently as well as with other team members in the Department; manage on-going research projects on emerging infectious diseases; and consistently publish original research articles in high-impact journals. He/She will conduct research projects related to influenza virus and coronavirus under the supervision of Dr. Shuofeng Yuan.
