IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (Ref.: 513831) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline; a good command of written and spoken English; and good communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Those with post-qualification experience in IT services such as system design and web-based application development; coordinating and supporting IT business processes; or skills and project experience in Oracle database, Java, Oracle PeopleSoft or native/hybrid mobile app development (Framework 7, Vue.js, Cordova, Objective C, Swift, etc.) have definite advantages.
The appointee will be responsible for higher education student analytics, web and mobile application development, user requirement analysis, support and maintenance of quality IT services for student information management and related business processes of the University, and liaising with the administrative offices and department users in the University.
