Clerk I/II (several posts) in the in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 515087) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language, with at least 3 years’ experience in office, HR and/or financial administration, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English, proficiency in word processing, good IT knowledge, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. They must be a good team player, self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to work independently and multitask under pressure.

The appointees will perform a full range of administrative duties to assist a busy research team. They will (i) handle financial matter (e.g. research grants budget control and accounting); (ii) provide clerical and human resources support (e.g. data entry and preparation of contract documents); (iii) attend to visitors and assist in event organisation; and (iv) perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
